Windscreen Repairs

Where possible we always try to repair a chipped windscreen rather than replace it to save time and money for our customers. Most insurance companies will cover chip repair costs as part of windscreen cover on your policy.

For chip repair to be feasible the following conditions apply:

  • The chip must be no bigger than a 1 Euro coin
  • The chip must be 5cm from the edge of the windscreen
  • If the chip is in the drivers line of vision it cannot be more than 10mm across. The drivers line of vision is approx 30cm wide centred on the middle of the steering wheel.

A repair can usually be completed within 30 minutes and can be done at your home or workplace.

Our technicians will inspect the chip in your vehicle and if it is not possible to repair it we can of course replace the glass at a very competitive cost not possible to repair it we can of course replace the glass at a very competitive cost.
