Windscreen Replacement
We offer a 24 hour, 7 Day week callout service for Dublin and surrounding counties. For car glass or windscreen replacement we only use glass that is manufactured to OEM standards to ensure the glass or windscreen replaced in your vehicle is of the same quality as the original glass from the car manufacturers.
Mouldings, trims and clips are replaced where necessary. If possible we endeavour to re-use the existing parts to keep costs to a minimum.
The following is our procedure for replacing broken windscreens and glass in your vehicle:
- Our windscreen / glass technician will vacuum as much as possible of the broken glass from the vehicle
- The polyurethane or seals that held the glass in place will be removed
- Primer is applied to the frame of the windscreen and the vehicle and allowed to dry
- Polyurethane is then applied to the new glass to ensure it is firmly in place
- The new glass is fitted to the vehicle and all original fittings are replaced
- We recommend the vehicle is not driven for at least 30 minutes until the polyurethane has dried fully
